I know, I know, from Tide Pods to Movember, the internet is full of "challenges." I've challenged myself many times over the years, most of which have been related to my design business. This year I am taking on a challenge of creating a painting every week for the entire year. My personal goal is to hone my craft and experiment with a looser hand. It forces me to work faster and in a less fastidious style.

“Artistic growth is, more than it is anything else, a refining of the sense of truthfulness. The stupid believe that to be truthful is easy; only the artist, the great artist, knows how difficult it is.”
– Willa Cather
